The University of Debrecen (UD) offers a BSc in Physics that provides a comprehensive education designed to bridge the gap between fundamental natural laws and advanced experimental research. The program prepares professionals to conduct high-level measurements, evaluate complex data, and manage laboratory environments within scientific and industrial organizations. Graduates are equipped to handle modern instrumentation and experimental design, and are well prepared for both immediate technical roles and further studies at the Master’s level.

Please note that the BSc in Physics operates on a single-intake academic calendar. This program only starts in September of each year. The application deadline in the self-financed procedure is 15th June.

The tuition fee is 6,500 USD / year for this program. This is supplemented by the application fee of $150 USD (one-time) and the entrance procedure fee of $350 USD that covers the examination and interview. Please note that the application and entrance procedure fees are non-refundable and must be paid via bank transfer to initiate the review process.
We offer a variety of academic scholarships and merit-based tuition fee discounts. Depending on your home country's regulations you might apply for federal loan while studying abroad as well.
